A woman in Benue has claimed that she bought Semo in Benue which later turned into rubber when she mixed it with warm water.

In an exclusive report to NAIJ.com, the sender claimed his sister purchased the product at Wadata market and that when she got home and mixed it with warm water, it turned to rubber.

“Please my friends we are in trouble, too much of fake things in our country today. My sister called me on Saturday to inform me she bought this semolina in Wadata market immediately after police station, if you are coming from the market just look by your left hand side there is a story building, that where she purchased the so called semolina.

“Reaching home she opened it and at the process of mixing it with warm water it turned to rubber. BE AWARE OF FAKE PRODUCT. PLEASE DON’T HESITATE TO SHARE”

“She took it back where she purchased it in a store and explained to the salesboy how everything happened. Then, the boy called on his boss who took my sister to the company where they produce the semolina where she explained to man who is the owner of the company. After her explanation he told her she doesn’t know how to prepare semo.”

Meanwhile, the federal government assured that the prices of goods in Nigeria will crash within weeks.

The minister of agriculture and rural development Audu Ogbeh while speaking in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state over weekend said the price of rice would drop significantly within the next two weeks.

Ogbeh said the ministry plans to supply Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) with 20 tons of rice seedlings in the next planting season
