Man Buys Used Car From Dealership, Turns On A/C And Discovers Previous Owner’s Confetti Prank

When purchasing a used car, it’s good practice for a potential buyer to do as much research as possible into the vehicle’s history.

Unfortunately, no amount of research helped 29-year-old Chris Linnane with what had been left behind in his Ford Focus ST.

Chris, from Manchester, England, recently bought the used car from a dealership and didn’t notice any glaring or lingering issues.

At least, he didn’t notice anything that would turn him off from actually buying the car.

That all changed, however, on a particularly hot and sunny day in Manchester.

What followed after he turned on the A/C led him to write this open letter to the previous owner of the car on Facebook:

“Dear the previous owner of my car.

“What we’re all looking at here is the driver’s side vent for the A/C and heating. What you’re seeing inside that vent is a large handful of the little circles of paper that belong inside the catch tray of a hole punch.

“The reason they’re in there has now become painfully apparent. When I put the A/C on full blast, I now get a face full of the little b*****d pieces of paper!

“I can’t get a hoover attachment in to get them out, nor do I want to try and remove the vent so now, every time I want cooling down or warming up, I face the inevitability of feeling like I’m part of some sort of confetti celebration.

“Bravo old owner, bravo.”
